Building 216 Judicial Center Remodel - Fort Riley, Kansas

  • This Design/Build, LEED project consisted of the total gut and interior remodel of an existing 30,000 square foot building at Fort Riley, Kansas into a new Judicial Center with courtroom, JAG offices and support spaces.  The civilian equivalent of this type of military facility is a courthouse with attorney offices.
  • The mechanical system was replaced in its entirety and included VAV AHU, chilled water, heating water, boilers and chillers. 74% of the HVAC work was completed with our own forces.
  • The project was coordinated with BIM 3D Building Information Modeling technology.
  • Due to the historic nature of the building, certain architectural features and elements on the interior and exterior were preserved and rehabilitated during the remodel.
