Greensburg Schools

When the town of Greensburg, Kansas set out to re-build their schools after a tornado destroyed the previous structures in May of 2009, Environmental Mechanical was proud to have played a small part in such a significant project.
Environmental Mechanical was selected to create sheet metal frames for all exterior wall openings of the new educational facility.
A total of 178 architectural pieces for window frames were fabricated in our sheet metal shop in Olathe, Kansas and transported on time/on schedule to the building site in Greensburg, Kansas, about 260 miles away, for delivery and installation in all three buildings - elementary school, middle school and high school.
The General Contractor for this project was McCownGordon Construction, the architect was BNIM and Gene Darby was Project Manager for Environmental Mechanical.
