University of Kansas Hospital, Inpatient Dialysis & Apheresis

This project consisted of the complete remodel of one hospital wing to update all MEP components and architecture. 

The bulk of the work was located in an existing interstitial space, although the project included work in the mechanical riser shafts and on the ground, 1st, 2nd and 3rd floor of the single building.

The scope included installation of one 45,000 CFM modular air handling unit with associated unit mounted humidifier and UV lights; 19 VAV zones with hot water heating coils at each box; fabrication and installation of all medium and low pressure ducts and installation of all new hot water heating loop.  EMC performed all HVAC demo prior to start of construction.
